What The Doctor Do When You Experiencing Symptoms Of Stroke?

by Any Safarodiyah

The doctor will diagnose whether you have a stroke or not. He or she will start by asking you what happened and when the symptoms began. Then the doctor will ask some question to know if you are thinking clearly. He/she also asks if you have any of the risk factors. He/she will then examine your neurological state, such as reflexes and movements of your body.

After that, the doctor may order one or more the following tests:

~ Laboratory test: test of blood, urine, and occasionally cerebrospinal fluid (fluid around the brain and spinal cord)

~ Imaging test: CT (computed tomography) Scans, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), and angiography.

~ Electrocardiogram (ECG), to evaluate the cardiac condition
